We hope everyone is staying healthy during this challenging time. Here at Urban Surfaces, we want to ensure everyone's safety and have taken extra steps to stay within accordance to Gavin Newsom’s urge to practice social distancing to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We asked all our employees to remain home for their own safety until this passes. This, of course, means that Urban has accommodated for most departments to work remotely to not cut anyone's hours. Urban would like to thank its principals, Mike and Frank, who have expressed genuine concern for the financial stability of all their employees. They understand the financial hardships this unsettling time might bring, Mike and Frank wanted to go above and beyond by ensuring all employees remain on payroll, even if their job cannot be done remotely. We are incredibly fortunate to have leaders with such thorough integrity, even when no one else is watching. We are open for business.

With this in mind, we will be implementing these temporary changes to our processes:

Business Hours
Business hours will remain the same, 7:30 am-4:30 pm.

Our Front Office and Showroom will be temporarily closed to customers. Orders can be placed by calling 800-492-8722 or by sending complete order details via email to OrderDesk@UrbanSurfaces.com. Many of our staff who normally take orders are telecommuting and stand ready to assist you remotely.

Will Call
Will Call remains open. To reduce the number of people inside and provide the appropriate space that people need, we will restrict the number of customers allowed at the Will Call window at any one time. To speed up the process, we ask that Will Call orders be placed ahead of time and pre-paid (if applicable).

No cash payments or physical checks will be accepted on-site. All payments will need to be made online using a credit/debit card, bank login, or ACH. Physical checks can be processed via ACH or by sending a check image to AR@UrbanSurfaces.com

Southern California Deliveries
We will continue to deliver to the Southern California market during this period and anticipate no delay in our service.



Truck Load Deliveries
At this time, there is no disruption to our logistics network. All trucks are running on schedule.

Working Remotely

As previously stated, most of our office staff is working remotely as a precautionary measure to keep everyone safe. There are a select few people still working on-site, but they too are practicing social distancing by minimizing their contact with one another and using empty offices to keep a safe distance.

Cleaning Regularly
We are cleaning and sanitizing our forklifts and other surface areas to keep all products clean. Our employees are also implementing consistent hygiene by hand washing/sanitizing regularly.

Limited Warehouse Staff
In order to ensure the safety of all employees, Urban Surfaces has made the tough decision to limit the warehouse staff to a skeleton crew. Urban Surfaces understands that this new policy could have drastically affected the financial stability of many warehouse staff members, However, the principals at Urban Surfaces have decided to continue paying warehouse staff members that are sent home to be safe with their families. Urban Surfaces is confident that once this is over, employees will return to work and continue to provide you with the products and service you have come to expect from us.

Business Hours
We are committed to keeping our facility operational and getting orders out the door in a timely manner. We have a plan in place to ensure the continuity of production and order fulfillment. As of now, our business hours remain unchanged. This includes our distribution facilities and freight networks, which are running on schedule. If circumstances change and we determine the need to adjust business hours and services, we will inform our customers as quickly as possible.

Inventory Levels
At this time there is no indication that any of our products will be impacted by the coronavirus, either directly or indirectly. We are well stocked on 95% of products and are receiving regular inbound shipments to replenish levels back up to 100%. As we continue to monitor our supply chain for any threat, we will be proactive with our customers in communicating any change to availability as early as possible.
